It is reported that Medan-Kualanamu International Airport double line railway project will be completed in the middle of 2017 in Sumatra Utara, including change mechanical signal system into electrical signal system.
Since 2014, this 50-kilometer double line railway project was began to construct, which aims to shorten time of passenger transport and enhance operating efficiency. Another double-track railway is from airport to Araskabu, it can be operated at the bottom of this year. In addition, railway from Araskabu to Medan can be also put into operation at the beginning of 2017. Railway also be lengthened to Kota Binjai.
Population of Indonesia is No. 1 in Southeast Asia and the 4th in the world, which means large consumer demand, and railway construction is actually the key to solve this problem. Railway is always constructed at place where is far from downtown with mountainous terrain and tunnel, viaduct are inevitable. To ensure projects’ quality and security, anchor bolt (
perno de anclaje) support is one of the ideal ways nowadays.
Except foundation support, anchor bolt(perno de anclaje) can also be used to prevent slope sliding, reinforce soil body and ensure engineering’s normal operation.
